So I get to work today and pick up the paper and there's a picture of two guys making out on the first page. The picture (shown above) is in reference to the first official gay wedding since somewhere in the middle ages, and was performed here in good ol' Canada in the lovely city of Toronto. The ceremony was attended by around 800 individuals who watched as Rev. Brent Hawkes, senior pastor of Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, wed the two couples, one male couple and one female couple (yes, the couple on the right ARE females). I have to say that other than being a little shocked at this picture on the front page of the local newspaper, all I could think about was "HOLY SHIT IS YC EVER GOING TO BE PISSED!".

It turns out YC hadn't seen the article but I DID talk to soul_d and he was none too happy about it. Interesting enough, I find myself leaning towards his viewpoint. As much as I try and keep an open mind towards the world and its 'revolutions', I can't help but cringe at the sight of a male couple kissing, although the other side of me keeps saying "Being gay is ok...AS LONG AS ITS TWO GIRLS". Anyhow, as much as I don't really care what these gay couples do in their own spare time, I can't help but think about how the next generation of children are going to be like when they are brought up in schools where they are taught that not only is it 'ok' to sodomize your friends, but encouraged. I mean is that going too far? Maybe we have been doing this whole male-female relationship thing wrong for the past thousand years? I don't know, but all I have to say is that gay people should be happy that they aren't being hung anymore after declaring their preference, but social exceptance is going to take a very, very long time...and if you have the right to be gay, then the rest of the world has a right to judge you in the same way they do other minorities. Unfortunate, but true. Maybe this would be a good topic for The Discussion Board.

"How dare you nominate the Chrysler Volare for worst car of the millennium! No other car has given me so many memories: the muscle tone developed by simultaneously flooring the gas and brake pedals at every stop (or even slow-down) to keep it from stalling; the friends we made when the car stalled while turning onto a busy street, blocking three lanes of traffic during rush hour; the bonds of friendship tested and proven while pushing the car long distances; and the fun and exhilaration of stopping at a light, popping the hood, jamming a screwdriver into the starter, starting the car and getting everything back in place before the light turned green again." - Some guy on the internet (submitted by DP)
While we are on the topic of news today, does somebody want to explain to me why the Japanese are so facinated by Hi - tech fire-hazard toilets? I don't know what it is, but its best to take lessons even before trying to operate them. Maybe while you're sitting on that hi-tech heated throme you might want to consider a new way to cool your hogs. And don't forget to thank Blue4130 for the wicked-ass links!

Greetings, my loyal readers...it seems like its been a long time since the last update but perhaps thats just the effect of all of the wild partying I was part of this weekend. As you may have noticed, soul_d has volunteered to submit occasional 'Weekend Updates' for the site, so you may now be blessed with 1 more day of updates per week! My plan is to hopefully integrate a little more of my readers ideas into the site by allowing casual updates by my serious fans such as Dog Pound, Razor, YC, and soul_d. If anyone else would like to get into this action, just drop me a line, because I'm always perfectly willing to weasle out of some work.

I've been doing a lot of upgrades to the framework of the site lately...most of which you probably haven't been able to notice. If you take a look on the menu bar to the left you will notice that there is one extra section for 'Top Misc Downloads'. Also, all of the Top5 listings in the menu bar are now being dynamically derived from the SQL database. What does this mean for you? Not much yet...but in the long run it will require less work for me to maintain this damn site, leaving more time for me to make quality updates!

Next on the list is re-doing the Comic Section and updating the Archives page. Big job, but it has to get done eventually!

The picture to the top-right is that of a beautiful 1978 Volare station wagon. soul_d sent me the picture and I thank him for it.

(yawn) ... back to work but at least its payday! Until tomorrow, have a listen to this song to keep you awake. It was forwarded to me by the great mrp so you just know that its going to be good!

Welcome to Weekend Update, with Soul_d

Good evening, this is weekend update, and I am your host, Soul D. Our top story tonight:

Hooligans Harass Dog Pound.

In the early hours of Saturday, (about 2 am), two guys were parked in Dog Pound's driveway, blocking his Explorer access. Dog Pound was quite distressed, and speed around the block well in excess of the speed limit. Evidently, DP was hoping that the hooligans would be scared off by this. A call was made to Dog Pound, in order to taunt him. Dog Pound asked the two guys to leave his driveway. The pair complied, and moved the vehicle out of the driveway, but continued to block access by parking across the entrance. Dog Pound immediately demand that the two young males leave his area immediately. The two eventually left. Wait, those two guys were Unit3 and I.

Holocaust Begins at 9pm

Tonight is the night of the Holocaust. No, there is no need to bar the doors and wait for the nazi invasion, This Holocaust is a massive party being hosted by the Holowaty brothers. Many people will be gather at the famous house at the end of Highlands, and surely loud music will follow. Rumor to be in attendance are such celebrities as Bryce Sasko, Massive Hair Adrian, and Tommy Lasorda.

Cayley is a Asshole

Evidently, Cayley is "a" asshole.

FORD CAR $50 OBO

Call (306) 230-6173 for details.

Well that's the news and I am out of here. I have to go put on my hot party pants for the Holopaloza party tonight.
Graeme is gay.

Yoyoyo Spitfire's back in the house and ready to kick out some of the best phat rhymes this side of compton! Without a doubt.

Click on the picture to the left to read about how our little Guinea Pig pimp had the night of his life!

You know...I've really been missing out on local news lately...it was just today that I found out from Dog Pound that there was a murder in our lovely hometown of Saskatoon not all that long ago...and they have arrested the suspect under charges of Murder 1. Thats pretty big news for a little city like us. And this is what I mean! We don't have cable, we have ExpressVu satelite so none of our channels are local, and I don't have a radio in my car. I suppose all I'm asking for is for some hot Canadian girls to tell me the news while taking off their clothes. Is that too much to ask for?

IS it??

If you haven't already heard, I would like to introduce you to yet another of Fox's great ideas for a show to appeal to bored teenagers: Temptation Island. In this show, four 'unmarried' couples are brought to an island populated by playboy centerfolds, chipndales, and other genetically perfect male and females. Once on the island, the couples are separated and the goal is to not end up porking one of the beautiful individual's on the island, whose sole purpose on that island is to try and seduce them. Make any sense? So it's basically Gilligans Island for the playboy channel. This has got to be the best idea they have had since "Hungry animals - slow babies". Fox, you never cease to amaze me (sense that sarcasm).

I've got some mean links today sent in from none other than Blue4130 himself! The first is Ghettoscooter.com, a site all about how to build your very own scooter on next to no budget at all. This site even includes video clips of a race between a real scooter and the one they made, which didn't really even roll. The second link of the day, and my personal favorite, is a site that will make you your very own personalized action figure! All you have to do is send in pictures of yourself and $250 and you can have an action figure that looks like you! It's pretty sweet, check it out!

Fredish pointed out very politely on the Discussion Board the other day that I made a mistake in one of my previous updates by accusing soul_d of "Buffy Bashing". My apologies for the mis-interpretation! I for one have no opinion having not seen the movie OR the series (even once)...

Sheeesh, I had a good update planned for today and then I got caught up with a bunch of other things. There just aren't enough hours in a day! If I could only eliminate sleep from my daily schedule I'm sure that I could eventually catch up on all of the things I've been meaning to do!

For intenet news today, The Dark Project is back up online and purring like nobody's business. For those who don't remember, The Dark Project was The Saint's documented Beowulf project from back in the days when we were in CST (long, long ago). So, if anyone has any interest in setting up a cluster of their own, you know where to go!

Anyhow, more excitement tomorrow, go play around on the Discussion Board if you need something to do.

Alright, before I start today's short update I have to mention that soul_d is very angry that I refused to include his two RBlords skin submissions in the contest. The reason for this is that they did not meet the standards for viewing by a family audience, which is what this site has always been about from the beginning....right? Come on, help me out guys...

There has been some action stirring on the Discussion Board as of late...you may want to check that out...

Still nice and warm here in Saskatchewan country, and I'm starting to wonder how long it will last. The ice-fishers out there are certainly having a good time, but here I am waiting patiently for the winter to end. I figured I could really tough it out this year, but I find myself yearning for the beach already, and its only January!

Enough winter discussion, onto something more exciting and new...my new friend (supposedly) Saul Bahir sent me an email today wanting me to "perform review of new service SDB gold for readers". I think what he means is, SDB Gold has gone live, so go check it out...and I suppose I should also mention, for those who don't already know, Mr-T.pwrsrc.net is back up and being updated again now that Unit3 has moved back home...

So, like Dog Pound's sister, Connor, is pretty pissed off at soul_d right now over all of the buffy-bashing he has been doing. In fact I think she is going to catch the next flight down here to Saskatoon to personally beat his ass. I think this would be a great chance to see a good fight, not to mention for free....I mean I don't think the two of them have even talked since they broke up last summer.

mrp hasn't done any updates for quite awhile, but he has some amusing pics on his site if anyone is interested. Sheesh...I'm really running out of things to say here....go visit __SPACE__ for some more action and adventure....PEACE OUT!

Ooooh is Razor ever mad! First of all, I was wrong about the main CST page being so sucky, because I had the wrong link, the real link is here. Not my problem the Kelsey Webpage sucks ass! Anyhow, aside from that Razor feels that he should win the RBlords skin contest by default because Saul's entry was not really an RBlords skin, it was an SDB skin. This maybe so, and I fear that I already owe him a doughnut from a past competition (?) so I'm getting a little in over my head...

And it's not just be that's stirring up trouble today, looks like YC is trying to stir some up on the Discussion Board today...tsk tsk tsk...

Our link of the day today is CreepySites.com, a compilation of a few supposedly 'distrubing' sites, most of which are pretty tame. In fact, there is even a link to that "For the Love of Julie" site which I linked to way back in March. At the time it was pretty beleivable but now it looks more like a hoax than ever. Nevertheless, check out CreepySites.com if you're bored and need something to read...

Don't have much else to say today except that I really have to get crackin' on the rules for my newest game 'Vice-Grip War'. I'll try and get that done as soon as possible, but between going to work, going to the gym and jamming with my new band (with Razor), I don't have a whole lot of time left. So anyway, I'm going to cut this update short. If you find yourself still needing something to waste your time, try playing this game. Look for the faces, there are 11 in total. Have fun!
