| | Well now, I just finished watching my new DvD movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". Has everyone seen that yet? If not you'd better go check it out! Then you can go out and rent the original which is even better (warning:
the original version is an extreme GUY movie which 90% consists of a giant car chase with the police. It kicks serious ass). Anyhow, I have to say that considering most people don't even know that there was an
original, they did a pretty good job of 'remaking' it...and even through in a few comments and scenes to entertain the fans of the original movie as well. This movie makes me want to buy a Ferrari.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!? Yes, thats right, its time for the RBLORDS song of the day! Now, this doesn't happen everyday, in fact in only happens today, so you'd better pay attention. Today's "RBLORDS
song of the day" was submitted by The Saint...so everybody please take a moment to download and listen to YC's THEME MUSIC.
WOOOOOOOOEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
I'm kinda pressed for time today (what else is new?) so I haven't had much time to go through the hoards of links that Kujo has been sending me. I did find this link
to be a fun read though, it shows all of the best TV cars, what they are and why they are so awesome. He also sent me a link to this very RBLORDS worthy movie clip of Some guy trying to ski off of his roof into his truck.
Its worth a watch people!
I'd like to welcome K1020 to the site also, its been awhile since he's been around! You can catch him on the Discussion Board if you want.
Anyhow I'm like totally outta here so catchya on the flip side...l8r!

| | Gah.....must....hold....out.....till....payday! Another week yet but I know I can do it! (This seems to be a re-occuring theme, doesn't it?)
Ok, before I get into this update (which is going to be short and boring), I have to apologize for spelling 'sewing' wrong in the last couple updates. Yes I am aware that
I am a complete moron, and yes I can spell at a grade 4 level, but be aware that I even thought about how to spell the word after contemplating 'soeing' and 'soxing' (silent
x) as solutions before deciding on 'sowing'. So 'Soing' it is. Oh, and what triggered this concern? Kind Fredish, the nice girl down
the block who kindly keeps me out of trouble and shaves poor people's pubic hair for quarters.
Dude! Anyone need some spare torpedo parts?
How about a deathcar that has a built-in flamethrower?
Maybe you just want to see some guy driving the shit out of a Ferrari.
Whats with all the links? Kujo is dishing them out like nobody's buisiness! The way I figure it, he must spend aournd 26 hours
a day looking up this shit for me, so in return I am planning on actually posting his bio sometime!
On a side note, I managed to repair that SEWING machine <-> computer glitch...turned out to be an IRQ conflict. Blue4130 found
this quite hilarious. I found it quite hilarious too, especially when I got $20 for fixing it. Chi-Ching! Showgirls here we go!
What a great time too, if anyone else would like to send me money, please feel free to do so, I'll even share it with __SPACE__!

Before I forget, congratulations are in order today for the honorable Dog Pound for passing his classes. What classes you ask?
His doctrine in mackfrenziology of course! Anyhow we all went out and celebrated the occasion tonight with a good helping of hot wings and alchohol. YC
was even there....yeah, that fucked up twisted comic-drawing motherfucker.
Before I sign off completely for tonight, I would like to let everyone know that the EJ banner in the menu bar has been removed.
This is indeed a sad, sad time, as that link has been there since the birth of the RBlords website! After talking with Skinny E today I
realised that EJ is indeed dead, and yes it is dead forever. To quote him exactly, "Without
Jerky Clay the site just fell apart". Amen to that, but alas I will be sad to see the site slip away into the dark portals of internet limbo...

| | Well surprise, surprise, I actually have some content lined for for everybody today, some tasteful, some to the contrary. But before I get onto the exciting stuff I would like to state to the world that I am tired of this damned
cold, and I am tired of fixing sowing machines with resource conflicts and I am tired of my Super-Volare not making it up small hills. . Nice to get that out of my system. Speaking of system, where the hell has
Razor been lately? Seems like he's vanished from the face of the e-world! Maybe he's off investing in Ginger.
Bored? How about figuring out who that was that you kissed last night, or maybe learn to be a meaner person.
Then you can thank Kujo for the rad links!
 |
Well, Blue4130 has graced us with a modern glance at the various techie-toys that are available to us today. It's worth a read, to see
what those zany Japanese folks have been up to this last little while...with all their quiet planning, and scheming...and the YELLING and the fighting and the dissagreeing, and the love, lets not forget the love.
Sheesh...first the computerized sowing machine, and now this. Whats next? Bionic commando monkeys with borg-like implants that persuade them to carry out your each and every order, even if that order means violating one of the
3 laws of monkey honor that they are sworn to protect? Yeah right!
|
After much thought, and persuation from some readers who knew about it, I have decided to publish YC's newest comic. This comic was sent to me last week, and upon actually looking at it last night
I decided that it was too harsh to put up on this site, but this just goes to show that I am a pushover and a sellout and that I can be convinced to put just about everything (notice the JUST ABOUT, DP).
So anyway enjoy the comic, and if you have a problem with it, just bitch on the discussion board!
Thats enough sweetness for tonight though, its beginning ot disgust me. I hope you all have a wonderful night, free of pain and illness.

| | Well, looks like there was no weekend update by soul_d this weekend...so this update had better be damn good to make up for it. Hmmm. Oh wait, just as I was
typing that it looks as if he has submitted one afterall...right on....I think.
For starters, I saw Charlie's Angels on Friday for the 2nd time because soul_d insisted on it. I think the movie was even better the second time, its
incredibly well-written plot and constant action just keep you guessing each time you watch it! I also saw the movie Frequency
the other night and it was pretty good also. I ALSO saw Scary Movie and thought that it was terrible. I guess I figured it would be funny, but
personally I think it would have been a lot better as a half-hour mini-movie, where it could have made the same impact. So those are my movie reviews for the weekend!
 |
I'd like to stop to complain for a moment. As any 'computer junkie' knows, the more you know about computers the more people you have around you trying to get you to help them for free...this is especially
common with family, neighbors and friends, and in most cases I really don't mind at all. However, in helping many of my parents friends, and even some of my friends, I have came across some very interesting
problems, and tonight was no exception. I got a call tonight from a friend's mother asking if I could come and help her 'computer problem'. She can't seem to get her sowing machine to work properly with her
computer. Sure enough, this damn sowing machine has a 25pin serial connector on it and will hook up to your computer to help with designing patterns or something like that....sheeesh! What's next? Is there anything
left out there that isn't available in a computer-plugin version? |
Well, it looks as if there has been a fair bit of discussion on the discussion board about the whole gay wedding idea. Nice
to see people are actually reading all this crap I put up! Oh, here's a sweet graphic that Audiophile sent me last week:

What else is new? Winter is almost over! Anyone who opposes me on this is a pecismistic loser, so suck it up! It's been warm for, like, forever and it doesn't seem to be getting colder. Even my fat and lazy
cat went outside yesterday. To celebrate the early spring I sat out on my front step in my underwear and waved to the neighborhood children as I pegged them off, one by one, with my brother's semi-automatic nerf arrow
gun. So soon the snow will be gone and the true partying will begin! And now my only problem is that The Saint has cunningly planned his wedding on the same weekend that
I must be present at PIKE LAKE 2001!
I have to admit, this 4x4 civic is pretty strange looking. Thanks Kujo for the link. Want more
mad links? How about some nice, cool heatsinks. And for you Ghostbuster fans out there, here's a quote that Kujo
found on Daily Radar:
"Director/producer Ivan Reitman continues to tease fans and keep hope alive that a third Ghostbusters movie might make it to the big screen some day, some way. However, Reitman went on to tell Eon Magazine, "I wouldn't say it's necessarily dead, but, you know. We're all getting older." Hollywood urban legend is Dan Aykroyd wrote a script for Ghostbusters 3, but as Reitman told the magazine, they just haven't been able to strike a mutually agreeable deal with the studio.
As much as we'd like to see another sequel, it's been more than 10 years since Ghostbusters 2 was in movie theaters. Hey, but you never know. If Reitman and Aykroyd can wait around for a few more years, they might be able to ride the wave when Hollywood gives up on redoing movies and television shows from the 1970s and starts bastardizing our favorites from the '80s.
"
... almost brings a tear to my eye! I'm sure a ghostbusters sequel would fit in perfectly with the upcoming new Indiana Jones sequel, and the new Crocodile Dundee. I've even heard rumours of a Terminator 3! The chaos will never end!
Well, this chaos is going to end now because I am growing too old to be up this late when there is work tomorrow!

Welcome to Weekend Update, with Soul_d
Good evening, this is weekend update, and I am your host, Soul D. Our top story tonight:
Charlie's Angels Keeps on Rockin'
Friday night I saw Charlie's Angels for the second time. It was even better than the first time. The movie was full of hot girls, kung-fu, hot girls, Bill Murray, hot girls, cool music, hot girls, explosions, hot girls, awesome slow motion fights, hot girls, George Mcfly, hot girls, race cars, hot girls, high tech spy crap, hot girls, and, hot girls. I wept openly when the Angels were on the beach playing with Bill Murray.
Here is my final opinion on the movie: "ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS I think I will be broke very soon as I am developing extravagant spending habits, that include my new pair of 200 dollar shoes and the Versace jeans I just have to own. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how I can spend over 100 dollars on boxer shorts.
Odeon Nightclub Has Bitchin' Lasers.
The Odeon Nightclub was booming Saturday night, with an awesome light show, and sound coming from top of the line JBL equipment. There are awesome lasers there that are rigged to fill the air with light, and look especially cool when they strike the mirror balls. They played Billie Jean. They played Fragma. They were awesome until midnight, when the music sucked. After that, Champs was cool as usual. They played Paradise City which immediately filled the floor with hot girls. Also, Arnold Vanlambalgen was there, and working up a Mack frenzy.
Royal Rumble featured Drew Carrey
Drew Carrey was a surprise entrant to this year's WWF Royal Rumble. Drew Carrey was placed in the ring against Kane. I think that the only thing running through his mind had to be, "Oh Crap, It's Kane!" Drew did the smart thing and eliminated himself by exiting over the top ropes.

Well that's the news and I am out of here. I eagerly await the Tuesday night movie, and the Thursday Night Longbranch. Graeme is gay.

| | Alright...sorry for missing yesterdays update but I fell terribly ill. Really, I did! In fact I didn't even make it to work, it was pretty shitty. So you'd think that with a whole
day off I could have come up with a decent update, but instaed I spent the whole day sleeping and drooling on my pillow. I'm feeling reasonably better now, and I'm
hoping to make it into work tomorrow because I have a huge list of things to do by the end of the week.
I took a few minutes to do some work on the page, and discovered that my wonderful little search engine in the menu bar can be used to find things on __SPACE__'s
page as well. I'm not sure why its doing that but oh well I guess its no big deal. I've been trying to set up a decent logfile analyzer for Apache so that
I can get a little more information about who is viewing my webpage. One thing I noticed when going through my logs is that this site has been hit hard by search-bots....at least once a week I have every single
page on my server downloaded by a single client (it happened today and took around 3 hours). I also have reason to believe that there are search engines out there somewhere that are linking directly to some
of the mp3s I have posted in recent updates. I have had 170 attempts to download "Eminem - The Real Slim Shady" in the past 4 days. This is getting
a little nutz...
I also have reason to suspect that my counter sucks ass...according to my webstats, this week alone the site has received over 5000 pageviews, from 431 unique visitors. Thats getting pretty crazy, but as I mentioned a lot
of that is coming from these stupid bots...
Since I really can't think of any new links today to give you guys, I am just going to tell you about the best news site on the internet. No, I'm not talking about CNN OR
Mr-T...I'm talking about TheOnion.com. Where else can you read about pressing and emotional news stories that your
local paper always leaves out? The following are just some examples of what you will find:
| |
Anyhow, enough with the mad links, I have to get back to being sick!

So I get to work today and pick up the paper and there's a picture of two guys making out on the first page. The picture (shown above) is in reference to the first official gay wedding since somewhere
in the middle ages, and was performed here in good ol' Canada in the lovely city of Toronto. The ceremony was attended by around 800 individuals who watched as Rev. Brent Hawkes, senior pastor of Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto,
wed the two couples, one male couple and one female couple (yes, the couple on the right ARE females). I have to say that other than being a little shocked at this picture on the front page of the local
newspaper, all I could think about was "HOLY SHIT IS YC EVER GOING TO BE PISSED!".

It turns out YC hadn't seen the article but I DID talk to soul_d
and he was none too happy about it. Interesting enough, I find myself leaning towards his viewpoint. As much as I try and keep an open mind towards the world and its 'revolutions', I can't help but cringe at the sight of
a male couple kissing, although the other side of me keeps saying "Being gay is ok...AS LONG AS ITS TWO GIRLS". Anyhow, as much as I don't really care what these gay couples do in their own spare time, I can't
help but think about how the next generation of children are going to be like when they are brought up in schools where they are taught that not only is it 'ok' to sodomize your friends, but encouraged. I mean is that going
too far? Maybe we have been doing this whole male-female relationship thing wrong for the past thousand years? I don't know, but all I have to say is that gay people should be happy that they aren't being hung anymore after
declaring their preference, but social exceptance is going to take a very, very long time...and if you have the right to be gay, then the rest of the world has a right to judge you in the same way they do other minorities. Unfortunate, but
true. Maybe this would be a good topic for The Discussion Board.
"How dare you nominate the Chrysler Volare for worst car of the millennium! No other car has given me so many memories: the muscle tone developed by simultaneously flooring the gas and brake pedals at every stop (or even slow-down) to keep it from stalling; the friends we made when the car stalled while turning onto a busy street, blocking three lanes of traffic during rush hour; the bonds of friendship tested and proven while pushing the car long distances; and the fun and exhilaration of stopping at a light, popping the hood, jamming a screwdriver into the starter, starting the car and getting everything back in place before the light turned green again."
- Some guy on the internet (submitted by DP)
While we are on the topic of news today, does somebody want to explain to me why the Japanese are so facinated by Hi - tech fire-hazard toilets? I don't know what
it is, but its best to take lessons even before trying to operate them. Maybe
while you're sitting on that hi-tech heated throme you might want to consider a new way to cool your hogs. And don't forget to thank Blue4130 for the wicked-ass
links!
