: And I think that you always have a choice whether or not you should follow orders. You weigh the results of your actions, and you take the one that is most benificial. If you don't believe you should be doing something, then don't do it.
But note that the Queen's Regulations and Orders directly state that as a member of the CF, you are under a legal and national obligation to carry out those duties, which is how so many good men get hung out to dry after the officers try to cover their asses and pin the blame on the guys trying to follow policy.
: I'm pretty sure it was proven that our solar system was created by matter flung away from our sun, as part of the explosion of matter from the big bang. Let me see if I can find some references on that...
Don't worry, I've researched the big bang theory myself, but I have my reservations as to whether or not that physical information availble to us is enough to prove these theories.
: The difference with Hebrew that I see is that Jews around the world actively learn and speak it to keep up their heritage, whereas nobody actively speaks Latin anymore.
But there's a huge difference between the Hebrew spoken today, and the Aramaeic dialects spoken back in the days of Christ, and I doubt the similarities are enough to constitute direct translation.
: No, but the current Pope as overturned many religious decisions from , essentially reducing women's rights and indirectly helping to suppress the poor. Not to mention the complete inaction by the previous Pope during the holocaust.
I think it would be extremely difficult for someone in a papal position. You have so many people looking at you as an icon and a role model worldwide that it would be impossible to state your opinion on certain aspects of life without offending or even alienating many people. Maybe the current pope DOES agree that a woman's body is her choice to deal with, but how many old-school followers of the faith would change their views to fit his mindset. It's a position I wouldn't wish on anyone simply because of the load it carries with it.
:Anyway, you can't *guarantee* any statistic, but the margin of error is usually very low within the kind of sample sizes used in nationwide and worldwide computations.
I never have been big on statistics.
